Sew FAST, FUN, EASY & useful Halloween-themed Hot Pads. Starry-Eyed Jack and Shadow Jack are such happy pumpkin fellows that can't wait to join the fun in your kitchen. They can definitely take the heat AND they add so much happiness for the season. Make them striking in solids as shown on the cover images or make them sweet in small prints. You can change expressions by slightly altering placement of the pieces--almost like carving a real pumpkin, but without all the messy pumpkin guts and they will last a whole lot longer. Really fun to make.
Even if you don't cook/bake much, these are fun to hang in your kitchen to decorate for Halloween.
This NO-WASTE machine applique pattern includes complete instructions and template images to make both Starry-Eyed Jack and Shadow Jack hot pads using: Reverse Fusible Raw Edge Applique and Traditional Fusible Raw Edge Applique Techniques. Would make a great seasonal class or friend group project; especially wonderful way for beginners to learn applique & reverse applique techniques and quickly have a set of finished, fun hot pads.
