Sew Thankful Help on Back Order Policy

Please note that there is always a possibility of an item being on back order. We do our best to keep items in stock, however customers order 24/7 from around the world and an item may be out of stock at the time your order goes through. No need to worry as we will work hard to fill your order as soon as possible.

Here's how we will handle your order if an item out of stock: (The majority of back ordered items get back in stock and ready to ship to you in 5-7 days.)

1. You will be sent an email letting you know the item(s) on back order, how we are handling your order, and the estimated date our shipment is arriving with this item.
2. If you only ordered just the one item, your order will be held until the item arrives.
3. If you ordered more than one item, the determination will be made based on your shipping charge if your order will be held or split shipped at not extra charge.
4. We will monitor your order to make sure the items ship to you as soon as possible.
5. If an item is delayed outside our control will send another email to you letting you know.


Please make sure your email address is correct when you place your order.  This is how you will receive information about your order. On the day your order ships, an email notification is sent to you letting you know how it was shipped and suppling a tracking number if one is available. This automatic and is sent each time an order ships.

If you have not received an email then the email address you gave was not correct, or possibility an email you do not check often. More often than not, emails are snagged by your spam filters on your email providers website, or on your email software. Please check those areas for the email.

You can always emails us to find out the status of your order and we will be happy to let you kow.

  • If you are paying by Visa, MasterCard or Discover, we do NOT charge your credit card until your order is ready to ship. 
    • NOTE: If you pay by PayPal, your payment is immediately processed through PayPal.  That is how PayPal works and we have no control over how they run their business.  Therefore, if you elect to go ahead and wait for a backorder, the initial order charge will remain intact.
