Sew Thankful Help on Returns and Refunds

When submitting your order at checkout you agree to our policies:

 

You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it.

You must contact us for authorization on a return by contacting us at customercare@sewthankful.com


All sales on the following items are final and not eligible for return or refund:


Digital Download Patterns, Inventory Reduction items, Closeout Items, Spotlight Specials.

 

To protect the copyright and hard work of designers: Digital items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. You accept and understand this policy by placing your order for such an item.

Any product you return, must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging.


NOTE on Free Shipping Orders: If you received our Free Shipping offer and then wish to return part of your order, please note that your order will be adjusted for the items you are keeping with a shipping charge added according to our shipping chart. After an order with Free Shipping has shipped, and the customer then makes a decision to return the entire order, the refund will reflect a deduction for the cost of shipping the original order.

Returns:

You must contact Sew Thankful by email at customercare@sewthankful.com for authorization to return. You will mail the items to:

The original shipping fee is not refundable. Return shipping costs wil be at customer expense unless the order/item being returned was sent in error or damaged.

Unless an item is received in damaged condition and reported to Sew Thankful prior to return...OR unless it has a manufacturer defect, the returned item(s) must be received in new re-sellable condition, including the original packaging, to receive a full refund of the product purchase price.  Pantographs are not eligible for return if it has been removed from the plastic packaging.  We have had these returned in the past and when unrolling found damage to the pantograph.  If a pantograph is returned and it has been removed and then reinserted in the plastic packaging the customers refund will be reduced for our cost on the pantograph as it cannot be resold.

Sew Thankful is not responsible for damage that may occur in the return shipping of items. If your order has fragile items or has a high dollar value, we suggest that your purchase postal insurance for your return package.

Eligible refunds will be made in the same format as the original payment and only to the person that made the original order. This means that credit card refunds will be issued to the same credit card used for the purchase. Paypal refunds will be issued to the same Paypal account used to place the order.

After an order has shipped, if a customer decides to "REFUSE" the shipment being made by the Post Office, the customer will only be refunded for the total of the merchandise in the order. (once we receive the order back through the Post Office.) The original shipping fee is not refundable in this case unless it has been determined that Sew Thankful made an error in the order.

Exchanges:

We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different product, you can return the the unwanted item per the return policy. Then you can place a new order through our website.

Policy Items:

Sales and Discounts: Sale prices and discounts are only valid during the actual period specified. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Accordingly, Sew Thankful will not issue refunds or discounts on any items purchased and shipped prior to a sale start date or after a sale date expires.

Claims for missing or incorrect items: Customer is responsible to inspect their order upon receipt. All claims for incorrect, missing, damaged/broken items must be made within 3 business days of receipt of the order. Claims will not be considered valid after 3 business days from delivery/receipt of the order.

Lost Shipments: Please let us know if your order is not received in a timely manner. Sew Thankful will not refund or replace an order if we have not been notified within 30 days that the order was not received. If after researching the item we find that the order was lost due to an error by Sew Thankful or the US Post Office, we will replace the item(s) or apply a refund. For USA orders, we must allow at least 14-20 business days for an order to arrive before proceeding with replacements or refunds. (not including the date of mailing, weekends or holidays.) For International orders, we must allow at least 30 days for an order to arrive before proceeding with replacements or refunds.

Our system is automated. The customers shipping label will print out exactly as it has been typed by the customer in the shopping cart. We will not be able to replace or refund any item(s) due to customer error in providing their shipping address. If an order is shipped with the wrong shipping address due to customer error at checkout, the US Post Office will return the package. (the majority of the time) Please note that to reship the an order in the case, another shipping cost will be charged.
