Mini Coos - a Highland Cow Quilt Pattern by Art East Quilting. Skill level 3 - Confident Piecer. Introducing a new and fresh take on Art East's famous Cattle Call Quilt Pattern! This fun quilt finishes at 52.5" x 62.5" and features adorable highland coos in a mini format.
This pattern includes optional Scottish tams (hats) to accessorize your coos. You may choose to make each coo with or without the Scottish tam.
The quilt includes two types of coo blocks: the front-facing coos looking in two directions (10.5" x 15" finished) and the side coo (15" x 15" finished).
Additionally, the pattern includes two different thistle blocks to create the borders. The coo blocks are versatile and may also be used in other projects, such as tote bags, runners, jackets, and more.
Art East designed this quilt pattern using traditional piecing techniques, so no paper piecing is involved. The quilt requires precision piecing, with small pieces, straight-line sewing, and some points to match.
