Cattle Call a Highland Coo quilt sewing pattern from Art East Quilting Co. is udderly adorable
Let's get mooving on this quilt! The Cattle Call quilt pattern contains the instructions to make a fabulous quilt featuring an adorably hairy highland cow (or coo, as you may hear in Scotland).
Choose whether your cow features horns and whether it faces left or right.
Instructions and illustrations are included for all options!
The large blocks (32.25 x 28.25") are big enough that you can create a successful quilt only using one. Finish your quilt with the optional star block and flying geese detail, as featured on the cover.
This quilt uses traditional piecing techniques and relies heavily on the Stitch & Flip technique. There are some points to match, however, the pieces are large giving you wiggle room to perfect your points. This project is great for the brave beginner and seasoned piecers alike!
Pattern booklet is 14 pages, printed in full-color with a rigid cover.

Easy with many options

LOVED that there were so many options included within the pattern. I ended up making a lap quilt with a right facing cow with horns. Just perfect. I didn’t include the stars this time. Also, I chose different colors to make it my own. Very easy piecing instructions. I am not a master quilter, only doing this a few years and there were not a ton of fussy little pieces.

I haave not had a chance to make this yet but hopefully soon! It is such a great pattern. I've read through it and it is an easy pattern for a confident quilter. Thank you so much! Hopefully the other quilt kits will become individual patterns as well!

Didn’t get a chance to work on this pattern. I did look at instructions and they seemed a little hard to understand for me. My mind has been on other things so maybe when things settle understanding may be a bit easier.
