Giddy Goat from Funky Friends Factory was easy to put together and a huge success with my grandson. I made it in chocolate brown and white fleece to look exactly like the goat he showed last year, so “Replica Rex” now resides in his bedroom in a “custom pen” designed by a 7-year old. I did not interface any of the pieces as recommended by many pattern makers and was very pleased with the results. My grandson has already asked for another one next Christmas, to look like the goat he’ll show this year! Grandma for the win!!
This pattern is quite user-friendly when you follow the directions carefully. It’s probably not for beginners but if you have moderate sewing skills you shouldn’t have any problems. I recommend reading through the instructions from start to finish before starting the project. I made this as a gift for my niece who is crazy about goats! The end result was adorable and I have plans to use the pattern again soon. Have fun!
