What's A Panto?

Continuous Line Quilting Designs (Pantos)

A panto pattern is a continuous line quilting design typically used by longarm quilters. Most of the pantos we stock at SewThankful.com are on 11 foot  - 12 foot rolls.

The longarm quilter unrolls the panto across the back table of the longarm; then, with the assistance of a stylus or laser pointer that is attached to the head of the longarm the quilter moves the machine tracing above the panto design which is simultaneously stitched out; then repeated row by row down/or across the quilt depending upon how the top is loaded on the machine.

Please respect copyright law.  These are original art designs produced in continuous line format by individual artists who also must eat, pay bills and feed their families.  Copyright of each design belongs to the respective artist.  If you have questions regarding copyright limitations, please contact the respective copyright holder/designer.  If you need contact information, please let us know...we will be glad to help.
