Digital - Train PDF sewing pattern from Counted Quilts

Choo Choo! Hop aboard this friendly train and head off to dreamland. Boys young and old love Trains. With the patterns multiple sizes you can make this for baby, or big brother. Maybe even both.  Don't be afraid to get creative with your fabric choices. That is have the fun of getting a pattern instead of a panel, kit, or finished quilt.

The black window is a great place to add a little personalization if you want add baby's name or birthdate.
* 3 sizes: Crib 36"x42", with additional 24x28 and larger 48"x56".

With the multiple sizes you can have this little train zooming around the room on the wall, in baby's crib, or add a few borders to the largest size to make it the perfect fit for a toddler bed or even a twin. I have recent made a custom runner for the top and bottom if you are looking for a twin, let me know as that is not included in this pattern.
*Skill Level: Beginner

The pattern lists fabric yardage, then charts for how many strips to cut, and then how many pieces. Once the pieces are cut you follow a full page labeled picture, sewing straight 1/4 inch seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method". Lay a square on top and sew corner to corner, then trim and flip. Once your triangles are marked you will follow a full page color image of the train with pieces alphabetically labeled. You will assemble the train row by row.
