Superior Kint Tut Thread is one of nature's finest threads. It is certified Egyptian-grown, extra long staple cotton. This means the staple fibers are 10% longer than regular long staple cotton. That translates to LESS lint and MORE strength. Approx. 1 1/2" color change interval. The short change color intervals mean that the colors will flow beautifully through your quilt.

I've copied this review onto 5 colors: 1036, 1045, 1052, 1055, 1051 because I have the same good opinion of every King Tut color I've ordered and used.
Thread colors are beautiful and the thread is strong and easy to work with. I use it for top and bobbin and the large spool is more than enough for my fairly heavy quilting. All my quilts are machine washed and I've never had any color-bleed from the thread. I enjoy the varigated colors because there's always one that works perfectly with my color combos. The color choices range from subtle, soft changes to vibrant combinations that manage to blend beautifully. I usually do a test run on hastily-pieced scraps until I find the perfect choice. If you're used to solid-color quilting, be brave and try one. Quality, all cotton and beautiful colors - perfect.
