Digital - Shark Twin PDF sewing pattern from Counted Quilts

This smiley Shark quilt pattern is made specifically for a twin bed with the Shark image covering the entire top of a twin mattress 39x75 and then is bordered for desired overhang 63x85 as shown. That can be adjusted for more of less overhang.

This is the favorite of my water creatures. Very popular with young boys. 

This quilt is made the same way my other patterns are in a strip and piece method.

1. Use a chart to cut the given number of strips of 3 different widths.
2. Use a set of charts to cut those strips into alphabetically labeled pieces.
3. Follow a full page labeled picture "map" to sew the quilt together using straight 1/4 inch seams.
The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the snowball method, using a square with a sew line corner to corner sewn on top of another square or rectangle to make a half square triangle.
