Second response. I have now made the bag, it is so cute! The pattern would be too expensive for more detailed instructions. There are several online videos and one with still pictures and additional instructions that that I found useful. Visual sewers need pictures. I found some of the explanation in the pattern unclear. I used very stiff interfacing on the sides and will try a softer interfacing next time. It was tough sewing through so many layers of fabric and stiff interfacing. I made the binding 2 1/2" rather than 2 1/4". The pattern was not difficult with the additional online videos and pictures however it is not for the faint of heart. Lots of creative bags online from this pattern.

Pattern gives written instruction and provides some pictures but not nearly enough to understand what needs to be done. I am a picture person. There are more detailed instructions online when needed. This pattern might be better suited to more skillful sewer. Three stars only because I have not yet started the bag and probably will view online videos before sewing.
