SewThankful Tracy's Pattern review:
10-11-25 Review:This review will be short and sweet because this is a wonderful pattern. The only hiccup for me was that initially I was confused about how to get the templates for the pattern pieces because the download only seemed to include the pattern instructions. Yeesh...I was confused because I didn't read the pattern! Sew...within the pattern, there is a link that you click on and there's also a code you'll need to get the templates directly from the designer. It's a very smooth, fast process and it worked flawlessly. It was just a new to me process and I just wasn't expecting it. 

I only made the Adult size hat for this review.

Pattern pieces printed nicely and it was easy to tape them together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The video was fun and a great help for tips on putting it together which was quite easy. Click the video tab on this page if you haven't watched it yet -- nice presentation and a couple cool tips.

As long as you don't choose a complicated or time consuming quilting design for your fabric pieces, this pattern goes together VERY quickly. As suggested in the video, I quilted my fabric first then I cut out the hat pieces from the quilted fabric to eliminate any chance of shrinkage due to quilting. 

Fully lined. I loved that the hat doesn't have exposed raw edges inside. It has such a professional, finished look. I love it just as it is. That said, I'm still working on unique, personalized embellishment ideas of my own (ribbons, flowers, etc.) to add variety and more.

I'm super happy with the result. I love wearing it around the house...lol...and I think I might need a wardrobe of witch hats now. Perhaps this will be my new gardening hat.

This was such a fun make and just what I needed to get my creative juices flowing again. I hope you'll consider sewing a witch's hat (or a dozen) too.
