This crab quilt pattern is a bright and fun quilt perfect for an water themed room, or as a large beach blanket.
It comes in 3 sizes: The main instruction is for the Crib size 36"x42", with additional pages for a smaller 24”x28” and larger 48"x56". With the multiple sizes this quilt is a great one for baby. Just add borders and make it a twin bed.

Skill Level: Beginner.

The pattern uses charts telling you how many strips to cut for each color. Then another set of charts giving the length of the pieces. The shaping is done using quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method".
Once the pieces are cut you just follow a full page color picture "map" of the quilts top with alphabetically labeled pieces. Putting the image together row by row. If you can sew a true 1/4 inch seam you can put this quilt top together.
