Tall Trim the Tree

I had originally ordered this pattern from another company, but it was "back-ordered" twice, ultimately making it impossible to receive the pattern and make the quilt before Christmas. I then found and ordered it from Sew Thankful, and had the pattern the next day! Will definitely consider ordering from Sew Thankful in the future!

The pattern itself is easy to follow, especially having done paper piecing projects previously. I used many more green and white fabrics than the pattern called for, as I had a lot in my stash from which to choose; I am very pleased with the result. (I'm sure the tree would also look very nice with the more limited number of fabrics called for in the pattern.)

I made my own "ornaments" using 25 different quilt blocks. The pattern suggested with the tree pattern only had six blocks, and I wanted more variety.
