Miracle Chalk

Miracle Chalk is recommended ONLY for use on 100% cotton fabrics.  Always test EVERY brand (and every type within a brand) of marking product you intend to use on a "sample swatch" of each and every exact fabric you are using in your project before you proceed to marking the entire project.  Miracle Chalk has been reported to not work well on sateen type fabrics as well as some batiks.

Manufacturer's HINT for testing successful removal:

• Be sure to place a scrap of batting under the test when removing with your iron.
• If the iron is not hot enough, or you do not have batting under the fabric, the chalk may leave a shadow line. If the iron is hot and batting in place and the shadows remain, do not use the chalk on this fabric. The fabric is either not 100% cotton or the chemicals in the finishing process of the fabric are binding with the chalk creating the shadows.
