This is a pattern for a bag, quilt roll and an
organizer.
This pattern is designed for woven
fabrics. Suggested fabrics are cotton,
cotton types, calico, nylon, poplin, decorator fabrics, denim, and twill.
BAG PATTERN: The lined bag made
from 3 different fabrics has fusible
fleece (link opens a new
window) interlining, wide bottom with
stabilizer, two inside patch pockets with zippers, outside pockets with shaped
top edges, bindings on top edges of bag and outer pockets, and button and loop closure.
QUILT ROLL PATTERN: Quilt roll has
fabric on outside, flannel on the inside, contrast fabric binding on outer edges
and ribbon tie closure.
ORGANIZER PATTERN: Organizer is
made from three different fabrics, has fusible
fleece interlining (link opens
in a new window), clear
vinyl pockets (link opens in a
new window) with zippers, and binding on
outer edges. Organizer may be folded and closed with VelcroŽ for travel
or it may be hung from handle.
NOTE: Clear Vinyl is listed as
requiring 3/8 yard of 33" wide vinyl. Our Quilters Vinyl is only
18" wide, but vinyl does NOT have a grain line, so 1 yard = 36" x
18" wide of Quilters Vinyl and that will provide you slightly MORE than you
need. Specifically...required is 3/8 yard which is LESS than 4/8 yard
which is 1/2 yard which is 18" x 33" wide).
