VIEW A

Hobo shoulder bag is lined with contrast fabric, and has a button and loop closure.

Material Required:

Fabric 45" (115 cm) or 60" (152 cm) Wide - 1 yd (0.95 m)

Contrast 45" (115 cm) or 60" (152 cm) Wide - 1 yd (0.95 m)

Notions: Thread, one button.

VIEW B

Bag is double and lower panel and inside are from contrast fabric. Top folds down to outside to form casing. Handles are from contrast fabric with cording. Appliqué is optional.

Material Required:

Fabric 45" (115 cm) or 60" (152 cm) Wide - 3/8 yd (0.35 m)

Contrast I 45" (115 cm) Wide - 1 yd (0.95 m)

60" (152 cm) Wide - 1/2 yd (0.50 m)

Contrast II 45" (115 cm) Wide - 1 3/8 (1.30 m)

60" (152 cm) Wide - 1/8 yd (0.15 m)

Notions: Thread, 1 3/8 yd (1.30 m) of heavy cording for handle. Appliqué: 4" (10 cm) square of paper-backed fusible web and tear-away material.

Lined bag has zipper at top edge, handles and lower panel from contrast fabric, and inside pocket.

Notions: Thread, one 18" (45 cm) zipper, four 1" (2.5 cm) D-rings or uniloops. Stabilizer for bottom, such as rigid plastic or cardboard 3 1/2" x 16" (9 cm x 41 cm).

Lined bag has zipper at top edge, front pockets with flaps, and inside pocket.
