PILLOW VIEW A

Pillow has 2" (5 cm) wide unfinished flange. Design is made from cut-out leaves sewn to pillow. Leaves can be cut from same color or contrast fabric.

Material Required:

Felt 36" (92 cm) Wide - 1 1/8 yd (1.05 m)

Felt 72" (182 cm) Wide - 5/8 yd (0.60 m)

Notions: Thread, 16" (40 cm) pillow form or polyester fiberfill, (optional) pieces of contrast felt for leaves.

PILLOW VIEW B

Pillow has three design choices. Design is made from layers of contrast fabric stitched together and excess fabric trimmed close to stitches using scissors or pinking shears.

Material Required:

Felt 36" (92 cm) or 72" (182 cm) Wide - 1/2 yd (0.50 m)

One or two 15" x 15" (38 cm x 38 cm) pieces of contrast felt for design.

Notions: Thread, one 14" (36 cm) pillow form or polyester fiberfill.

BAG VIEW C

Bag is lined with self-fabric, top edge and handles are unfinished and stitched together, and has two designs. Flowers are layers of contrast fabric stitched together and excess fabric trimmed using scissors or pinking shears. Dots are cut from contrast fabrics, fused and stitched.

Material Required:

Felt 36" (92 cm) Wide - 3/4 yd (0.70 m)

Felt 72" (182 cm) Wide - 3/8 yd (0.35 m)

Fusible Interfacing 24" (60 cm) Wide - 5/8 yd (0.60 m)

Tear-Away Material 22" (56 cm) Wide - 1/2 yd (0.50 m)

Notions: Thread. Flower Design: Three or four 9" x 12" (23 cm x 30 cm) pieces of contrast color felt.

Dot Design: Pieces of contrast felt for dots, scrap piece of fusible web.

FRAMES

Frames are made from layers of contrast fabric stitched together and excess fabric trimmed close to stitches using scissors or pinking shears.

VIEW D & E Material Required:

Two 8" x 12" (20 cm x 30 cm) pieces of felt for base color, one or two 8" x 12" (20 cm x 30 cm) pieces of contrast felt, 8" x 12" (20 cm x 30 cm) piece of tear-away material, thread, (optional) 3/8" - 3/4" (1 cm - 2 cm) wide ribbon for hanging.

VIEW F Material Required:

Two 11" x 13" (28 cm x 33 cm) pieces of felt for base color, one or two 11" x 13" (28 cm x 33 cm) pieces of contrast felt, 11" x13" (28 cm x 33 cm) piece of tear-away material, thread, (optional ) 3/8" - 3/4" (1 cm - 2 cm) wide ribbon for hanging.
