This pattern for Misses' Jacket, Shawl & Hat is designed for heavyweight stretch knits such as Polarfleece®. Misses' shawl, jacket and hat have all outside edges unfinished. View A "wrap shawl" has sleeves and patch pockets. View B jacket is made from one piece, and the fringe is cut and tied together for sleeves. The Hat is made from two pieces, the fringe is cut and pieces tied together. View B does not require sewing, View A requires sewing.

No Sew Hat -- KS#3173

I've made a couple of these and they are great!! Only two pattern pieces and no sewing at all. You attach the two pieces by tying square knots (fully illustrated in the instructions). I was able to complete my first one in under 1 hour. The 2nd one was even faster. The trickiest part is keeping your knots straight but the pattern is forgiving if you happen to make a mistake.

By the way...the hat is very comfy and VERY warm. I love it and it's so fun.
