Unisex Hats, Mittens, Headband, Neck Gaiter and
Scarf in Adult Sizes. Recommended fabrics include heavyweight stretch
knits such as Polarfleeceฎ or blanket fleece. Line the mittens with a soft
woven or knit fabric such as flannel or single knit. The only notion you will
need is thread unless otherwise specified.
Hats and headband sizes S-M-L, fits head
circumference:
Small - 20 1/2 (52 cm)
Medium - 22 (56 cm)
Large - 23 1/2 (60 cm)
The shaped headband is made from a double layer
of fabric. It requires 1/4 yard (0.25 m) of 25 (64 cm) wide fabric (minimum
width).
The pull-over neck gaiter requires 5/8 yard (0.60
m) of 24 (61 cm) wide fabric (minimum width).
The scarf has self fabric fringe. It requires a
piece of fabric 14 x 72 (36 cm x 182 cm).
View A hat is a peak top with an
optional tie on the top. It requires 1/2 yard (0.50 m) of 26 (66 cm) wide
fabric (minimum width).
View B hat has has ear flaps,
facing and self fabric braided ties. It requires 1/2 yard (0.50 m) of 53 (135
cm) wide fabric (minimum width).
View C hat is an extra long
stocking cap with a self fabric cuff and tassel. It requires 1 3/8 yard ( 1.30
m) of 52 (132 cm) wide fabric (minimum width).
View A mittens have drawstrings
at the wrists with cord stoppers.
View B mittens have ribbing
cuffs.
Each view requires 3/8 yard (0.35 m) of fabric
and lining that is 40 (102 cm) wide (minimum width). View A requires two
drawstrings and two cord stoppers. View B requires 6 (16 cm) of ribbing that
is 16 (40 cm) wide (minimum width).
