Here's a pattern for a not too big, not too small, just the right size backpack.

Make it from Charm Packs or 5" squares of your favorite fabrics.

The design features an inside pocket to hold essentials. The strap length is adjustable to fit your mood, carry it on your back or sling it over your shoulder. Also included are instructions to make it into a clutch handle style bag.

The finished backpack dimensions are approximately 13 1/2" high x 11 1/2" wide x 2" deep.
