Loose-fitting, lined jacket in 2 lengths has 10 pockets. Front separating zipper concealed by extension, patch pockets, center back inverted pleat, button cuffs, collar, shoulder pads, slightly gathered to wide bottom band. Lining has 2 zippered pockets, 5 simple patch pockets, with optional closures, and a secret pocket for your money and/or other necessities.
Most garment-weight fabrics are appropriate. Very light weight fabrics may need to be stabilized with fusible interfacing. Avoid stiff fabrics. Front and back panels may be cut from contrasting fabric or be decorative: patchwork, quilting, embroidery, manipulated fabric, appliqué, printed, painted or piped. Use your imagination to create a one-of-a-kind garment. The lining fabric should be color coordinated with outer fabric, since the lining will show at the neckline when the collar turns back.
