This pattern for baby wardrobe is designed to be sewn with fleece. 

Fleece fabrics are perfect for babies because they are so soft and flexible.  Plus, they are very easy and forgiving to sew with! 

Most fleece is 60" wide.  Fabric requirements are listed below for making each garment...but you may be able to get several items out of a single piece of fabric.  For example, a jacket requires 1/2 yard, but the pattern pieces wont take all of the fabric width thereby leaving enough fabric for you to make a pair of matching booties. By planning ahead and experimenting with different layouts, you'll be surprised at how many different items you can make with just 1 yard of fleece fabric.

The booties pattern calls for (optional) slipper gripper (a good idea if baby is starting to walk).  You can find Jiffy Grip and Slipper Gripper here.
