Perle cotton is perfect for small projects in tatting, lace-making, crazy quilting, folk-style quilting, folk-style appliqué using hand blanket stitch or for trimming/finishing edges on fleece garments &
throws. Perle 12 & 16 may be used in the top of the machine with a big needle
(and making the appropriate adjustments to your tensions & stitching
speed), while all three sizes can be worked wonderfully from the bobbin of the sewing machine for thread painting and surface embellishment. Perle Cotton is also GREAT for running through the loopers of your serger for stunning decorative effects.
