How can I find out my order number?

Upon successfully submitting your order at SewThankful.com, you will receive an online confirmation providing you an order number AND you will receive an emailed order receipt also providing your order number.  If you did not receive at least one of those confirmation notices, then your order was most likely NOT successfully submitted and we will have no record of it.  We only receive notice of orders when the transaction has completed successfully.

How will you ship my order?

  • SewThankful ships exclusively via The United States Postal Service. 
  • All domestic packages are shipped via USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail -- SewThankful's choice depending upon the package weight and value.

How will I know when my order ships?

  • When your package ships we will send you an email notifying you that your package is shipping.  If you do not receive an email from us, it is likely that you provided an invalid email address (there may have been a typo) or that your email service provider is blocking email from us. 

Can I track my package after it has been shipped?

  • Most First Class Mail and Priority Mail shipments will include electronic delivery confirmation.  Please note, there is a very big difference between "tracking" and delivery confirmation.  Please read all about that on the USPS website by clicking here.

How long will it take to receive my order?

  • Orders shipping to USA destinations should expect to receive your order in approximately 4 - 7 business days from the day we ship, depending upon what day/time your order was placed and where your order is shipping to. International orders may take 10 business days or more from the day we ship to arrive. 
  • During holiday periods, you should expect delays of an additional 3 to 5 days or more to the above suggested time-frames for delivery.

What if I have waited the above specified time but still have not received my order?

  • US Customers, if you have not received your order within 15 business days of the date you place your order, then you--the customer--must immediately notify us by email or by phone (toll-free 1-866-844-9574) prior to the 20th business day from the order date so we may investigate the situation and take the proper steps to make sure you are satisfied. 
    • SewThankful will not re-ship or refund any orders where the customer has not notified us of non-receipt of the order within the specified time-frame and in NO CASE if customer has not notified us within 30 days of the date that the order was placed.
  • International Customers, if you have not received your order within 20 business days of the date you place your order, then you--the customer--must immediately notify SewThankful by email to orders@sewthankful.com prior to the 25th business day from the order date so we may investigate the situation and take the proper steps to make sure you are satisfied. 
    • SewThankful will not re-ship or refund any orders where the customer has not notified us of non-receipt of the order within the specified time-frame and in NO CASE if customer has not notified us within 30 days of the date that the order was placed.

Can I return copyrighted materials if I change my mind after I receive my order?

  • Due to US Copyright laws and concerns: books, patterns and copyrighted printed materials can not be returned for refund or exchange.  This is clearly specified on our Shipping, Payment & Returns policy page, which must be agreed to by all customers when they submit their order.

Can I return clearance or closeout merchandise?

  • All clearance and closeout purchases are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges on clearance or closeout items once they have been shipped.

What is your merchandise return and exchange policy?

  • Sew Thankful stands behind its products and service, subject to the copyright limitations specified above.  We want you to be pleased with your purchase.  If you are unhappy with your purchase, we want the opportunity to make it right for you. 

  • Unless product is defective, items must be returned in NEW and re-saleable (re-sellable) condition in order to qualify for refund or exchange.

  • If the 30 day period has passed from date of purchase, the item may be returned for exchange within the period of 90 days from the date of purchase. After 90 days there are NO RETURNS.  

  • Shipping charges, are NEVER refundable unless WE have made an error in your order.  Shipping Charges do not apply toward exchange credit, neither are they covered for returning any item for exchange or refund.  

  • Sew Thankful can not and will not be held responsible for damage or loss to packages returned to us that were not insured by the shipper/customer.

What do if I want to cancel my order?

  • If you wish to cancel your order and the order has NOT already shipped, you may do so by phone (1-505-771-2314) or email orders @ sewthankful.com (remove the spaces if you are typing out the email address).

    • Immediately upon receiving your cancellation email or phone message, we will provide you with a confirmation that your order has been cancelled. Obviously, we don't want to ship an order that you want to cancel as it creates unprofitable work and lost time for us. You must make sure that you receive the cancellation notification from us. We can not be responsible for emails that get lost or delayed in cyberspace and do not not appear until after your order has shipped. Once your order has shipped, a refund (less shipping charges) can not be given until the product has been returned in like new condition.
