Fun bag to make!

Saw a class to sew this bag being given locally but I didn't need a class. I got the pattern and made 6 of them the first weekend. I've made several where each 'tulip petal' is made from two fabrics so the bottom of the bag is a different fabric.
I've got at least 6 more in the works... a silk one with black piping, some out of upholstery fabric, some out of cotton. I even devised a super-jumbo pattern by drawing outside of the lines of the 'jumbo' size. I haven't tried it yet, though.
I've also started making the inside pocket like the outside pocket(just the shorten the bag piece). Makes a bigger pocket and fewer seams!
Seems like endless possibilities! Great pattern!

This pattern is simple yet looks more complicated. I have made several already in different sizes. Can also be used as a basket pattern (made one of those too). Would make a great gift item.

Nice pattern. Easy to follow instructions. My wife made the standard sized bag. She really likes it and is going to try the large bag next.

This purse was definitely not a two hour sew, but was not a full day either. Worked up cute, I would change a few things, but all-in-all a fun bag.
