This is a pattern for a very elegant and easy to make checkbook cover.

Patricia Gould, the pattern designer, likes to use Dupioni silk and paint or print photos on it with her inkjet printer. But, you may use any fabric, even quilted fabric. You may also add a plastic insert if you use carbon checks.
